Wide variety of colors
The RECATIR tarps are woven with high tenacity polyester PVC coated on both sides, weighting 700 g/m2.
It is a very resistant product, both for its mechanical properties and for its color fastness towards weathering.
The two side coated, the weight, the tensile strength, the tear resistance and its great performance to weather, make RECATIR the ideal solution to use on truck covers and curtain-sided trucks.
PVC Technical characteristics
PVC is a high-strength material with low thermal conductivity, economic, and also recyclable. That’s there as on why PVC canvases have become a widely used material in many fields of application. PVC tarps are used in Textile Architecture, truck covers, covers for pools or ponds, awnings and in all other applications requiring waterproof, high tensile resistance and durability.
Technological advances in the fabric development, allow to have high strength and flexibility, but with a weight-to-surface ratio lower than other materials.
RECASENS PVC Technical fabrics, are studied and proven products, having excellent weather resistance, holding for a long time, both its mechanical properties and its color. They are also highly resistant to mold.
RECASENS PVC canvases have excellent weldability and are easily printable.

Maintenance of PVC fabrics
RECASENS fabrics, Technical Textiles, are fabrics easy to maintain. The fabric surface is non-porous plastic, making it difficult for dirt to adhere but easy to remove.
Dirt accumulation can end up damaging the PVC canvas finish, causing accelerated deterioration. It is recommended to periodically clean the canvas to prevent rot and mold growth.
For effective cleaning, sponge out using soapy water and then rinse with clean water. Let dry the fabric positioned in a perfect tension.
We recommend using neutral (non-ionic) and a low percentage of alcohol detergents. Avoid using highly acidic or highly alkaline detergents and do not use solvents or bleaching agents such as bleach or hydrogen peroxide.
To avoid damaging the canvas finish, do not use chemicals or abrasive brushes or cleaning systems using water jets at high pressure.
